PSCTA

Power Scholars Cumulative Tutoring Assessment (Version 1.0 - For Tutors)

General Information:

What is the PSCTA?

Why do we require this test?

Tutors that are not a part of the AP, IB, AICE or A-Levels curriculums may not have a standardized education across the world.  In order to hold our tutor body here at Power Scholars accountable to a standardized examination amongst the tutors here at Power Scholars, we eliminate varied education standards and require this assessment.

In order to tutor with Power Scholars Online Tutoring, we require that all of our tutors take and pass the Power Scholars Cumulative Tutoring Assessment (PSCTA).

Guidelines

Tutors must. take this test within 8 weeks of their acceptance. If they fail to do this, they will be placed on an inactive status.

A Power Scholars ID is required.

Tutors may take this test during whichever time they prefer. This test is 100% online and does not require a live proctor or a visit to a proctoring center.

Test Duration: 80 minutes

Number of Questions: 60

This test will consist of concepts from grades K-12 and beyond, including various college-level concepts.

The tutor will receive an individual score for each section, as well as a cumulative score.
