Lead a Power Scholars
In-Person Club at your high school!

Overview

  • Become a leader in your community by leading a Power Scholars In-Person Club at your school. 

  • You will be in charge of conducting meetings weekly at your high school. These meetings will consist of peer tutoring, alongside club announcements and volunteer opportunities. You can create independent agenda as long as it does not go against our mission and polices. 

  • These meetings must take place at least weekly or bi-weekly. 

  • Monthly reports must be sent to the Power Scholars Online Tutoring main organization which consist of how everything has been going at your chapter. (This is a check-in)

  • You will be listed on our main website as the club manager for your high school Power Scholars location

  • Be eligible for Power Scholars partnership programs

Requirements 

Eligible Schools: 

  • Public High Schools

  • Public Charter High Schools

  • Private High Schools 

  • Be a high school student

  • Attend an interview to see if you're fit to lead a Power Scholars club. 

  • Locate an adult sponsor. This can be a teacher or faculty member that works at your school. 

  • Volunteers are expected to follow Power Scholars protocol

  • Establish a leadership team at your high school of the following positions either through interviews or voting:

  • Adult Sponsor (Teacher/Faculty Member)

  • President (YOU:Student)  

  • Treasurer (Student)

  • Secretary (Student)

 

Submit a club leader application.

 

In order to become a club leader at your high school, you must complete and submit the Power Scholars Club Leader Application. Our human resources team will review your application and get back to you via email with your application decision.
