Alternative Requirements for Non-Tutoring volunteer applicants for those that do NOT follow a 4.0 GPA weighting system

For those applicants that are applying for a non-tutoring position, we require an unweighted cumulative GPA of a 3.20 (weighted on a 4.0 scale).  If your school/district provides you with an official GPA on a 4.0 scale, please reference the original requirements.

If not, please look below for an acceptable alternative to replace this requirement. 

Alternative to make up for GPA requirement: 

Provide the following:

• Letter grades must be A's or B's or C's*. (There may be no more than 1-2 C's)- A transcript must be provided to reflect this information

• ​2 Letters of recommendation:

• (1) from a current instructor/teacher

• (1) from a non-current instructor/teacher, however, a staff member or teacher employed by your institution ​
